Walking in Truth
Pastor Fee teaches us that in this informal letter, John did not stand on his authority as an apostle but spoke of himself as an Elder—one who watched over the believers with loving concern for their spiritual well-being. John had been one of Jesus’ twelve disciples. He wrote the Gospel of John, three letters, and the book of Revelation. He may have been the only remaining living member of the twelve disciples. The truth that lives in us and will be in our hearts forever personifies “truth.” God gave the truth to people in Jesus Christ, the full expression and embodiment of truth. Pastor Fee will be teaching from the Book of 2 John 1-13 and his message is entitled “Walking in Truth”
Scripture References: 2 John 1:1-7
